Hey guys exciting news, I passed my drivers test with 94 out of 100 points!! I am super excited because I get to learn to pull a trailer when the weather gets good, so the weekend after my 16th birthday, me and Roni plan on going to Brushy to have a fun day of riding togeather! I will be able to get my school permit soon too because I live more than one mile from the school. Tomorrow I get to go start my job shadowing, I can't wait to learn more about being a farrier, after I work with him for a few weeks, I plan on finding an equine vet to see and learn more about both of them, and see if I would like one more than the other and what one I would like to learn first. I can't wait until it snows so I can go ride outside in the snow, we don't have an arena or anything, so the horses are really good about knowing that no matter where they are they need to listen to us, not just in an arena. I hope to be able to work with Jack some more, smoothest trot I have ever felt, he has potential now that we were doing wrong, he is almost as light as Chuck in the mouth, for both of them all you have to do is tighten your grip on the rein and they flex nice and good. I will try to make a short video on that sometime tomorrow to show you guys what I am talking about, soft hands make for a soft horse, horses are a reflection of the rider, a nervous rider makes a nervous horse, a confident rider makes a calm horse, a soft rider makes a soft horse, a hard rider makes a hard horse, a experienced rider makes an experienced horse, and a green rider and green horse=black and blue. So like I said I am super happy, I am finally feeling really great about where I am at right now, everythings calmed down with school, ground school, drivers ed, passing my driving test, the horses getting better and better each time we work with them (roni your learning so much its awesome I hope you always feel like you can ask me questions about horses, or anything for that matter, Im so proud of you :) learning to lunge, ground drive, and just ride with soft hands, leg seat, and subtle ques makes me proud to see how far you have come, your a confident rider and you look awesome sitting on a horse especialy Snickers, and you will look awesome on your black and white paint when we find you one ;) your amazing. Chuck I know you can't read this but im so proud of you for putting up with my mistakes as gratefully as you do, we have come so far from doing hours of just walking to being able to jump and run around as we please so proud of you my other half! Same for Jet I am proud of how strong you are, you never gave up, you always had a twinkle in your eye no matter how bad you were feeling, you always neigh at us whenever we come out along with your BFF Jack, so glad to have you, when im stressed I come out and stand there with you and you wrap your neck around me and suddenly everything felt better, and now just seeing you every day makes me happy and glad to be alive, you give me hope and make me feel motivated to help people, and be a friendly person, I smile more now because I know I can come home and see you and Chuck every night, I hear you guys neigh from across the pasture when we pull in the driveway, and I love how you follow me and Roni around like a little puppy dog all the time. You and Chuck are my 2 boys, nobody can replace the space you guys take up in my heart, not a person or animal of any kind will be like you guys are to me, and I am thankfull for that. So tonight I end with the riders prayer.
Rider's Prayer

Dearest God in Heaven
Give me strength to guide my horse.
Make my hands soft and my head clear.
Let my horse understand me and I him.
My heart you have blessed with a special love of these animals,
let me never lose sight of it
My soul you have gifted with a deep need for them.
As the sun gleams on an elegant head,
always may my throat tighten at the sound of a gentle nicker.
Let the scent of fresh hay and a new bag of grain always be sweet to me.
Let the touch of a warm nose on my hand always bring a smile.
I adore the joy of a warm day on the farm.
The grace and splendor of a running horse,
the thunder of its hooves makes my eyes burn and my heart soars.
Let it always be so.
Dearest God grant me patience,
for horses are harnessed wind and wind can be flighty.
Let me not frighten or harm them,
instead show me ways to understand them.
Above all, dear God, fill my life with them.
When I pass from this world, send my soul to no heaven without them.
For this love you have given me graces my existence.
I shall cherish it and praise you for it all the time.
Amen
