Fun and Scary day!

Hey guys, so a little about today, doesn't really have anything to do with horses but anyways, so we got up today, and we went to a local town to watch a water fight so if you guys don't know how those work around here, heres how it goes, you have 2 people and each of them have helpers but they don't count and there is a wire strung probably 10-12 feet up, and there is a keg on the wire on a set of rollers, each team is an even distance from the keg, so when the whistle is blown you have to pick up the fire hose and spray the keg to the other end of the wire, it is a wet event as you can tell working with the fire hoses lol, I ended up getting second place, I was even complimented by the firefighters that I had good aim with the hose, I lost to a 3rd grader lol because she got to pick her side, and the one side had a smaller hose, but to really top it off, Nick was my helper, I tried to run backwards with him, but he forgot to pull the extra hose out of my way, so I smashed my head on the concrete but it was okay I was wearing a helmet...lol I think Nick and everybody else were more worried than I was, they thought I was hurt cause the helmet made a loud bang on the concrete, but I was okay and came up laughing and I went over and gave the little girl a high five :)
I got a pass for 15 admissions to a pool near us in a bigger town, a free game of bowling, and a free treat from DQ  It was also a fun day because I got to see one of my friends who is also has the same name as me except her name is spelled Alesha.... anyways I got to see her and meet Marina who is a forein exchange student staying with her for a few weeks this summer, she was very quiet, but thats okay, she doesn't even have any of her stuff because her bags got lost in flight, and she got here on Wednesday..... but overall it was a fun time at the park.. I have videos to post of some of the water fights but I will wait to post them until tomorrow....

So we got home, Roni and I were sitting on the couch when the scanner went off, we had been under a tornado watch, but things hadn't seemed bad, and then we got a tornado warning, not just a it may be forming, but a "funnel cloud spotted 9 miles south of Webster City and we live about 10 miles south of there, so Nick being a firefighter/emt/stormchaser went out with the rest of the fire crew, someone went to the station to set off the sirens for our town we all grabbed animals and went to the basement, my dad and both alex and tj were out and about but were too far away to see it, but  my dads friend and Nick both watched the funnel cloud go up and down 3 times but it never toutched, but it was a little over a mile from my dads house and then it went back up, Nick called me and told us to get to the basement NOW because my mom usually stands at the top of the stairs because he said it was right over us, within minutes we could hear the wind shift and completly change direction, and it started howling and pouring.... it slowed down and Nick told us we could go upstairs because it had moved past our house, but it ended up comming down a little over a mile from our house.... i think I was more scared for others than I was for myself, I am glad nobody was hurt today, we went out and drove around, where the funnel cloud went up and down the field of corn was almost completly flattened, we are pretty sure it came down, there is a marking in the grass where it points to the funnel cloud touching or being very close to touching the ground with swirling patterns all over the ditch.... anyways here are some pictures.......
