This Year!

So this is a little over a year, but I figured I would write it now, better late than never! To start off I am so happy with my life and how everything has turned out, and I will never say I regret anything! Every thing that has happened to me all of my live has led me to this moment, and im not dead yet, everything that happens makes me stronger, breaking bones, bad accidents, stupid people lol, they all make me stronger and better :) I have learned many things and my riding has come a long ways. Chuck went from being a kinda broke horse that was nervous and jittery on a trail ride to an amazing partner that I can ride without using anything other than our mutual respect! I can't wait to see all of what is to come, the blog has survived bashings of both itself and its owner, it has and is still growing as am I, and I know those of you out there can grow too, im only 15 and I have trained our horses, and am begining to train other peoples horses! Im only 15 so what is everyone else's excuse? I am so glad I have had the people to help me, and now im here trying to help you guys and your horses become better riders, horses, and people :) I love all the support you guys have been giving me, no matter what happend, the blog is always fun to go and look at, and its fun to see what I have accomplished. Here is my very first post on this blog....
Hello! Welcome to the new blog! I have another blog called horsing around. That is about my everyday life and how my horses and friends are involved. This blog is as the name says pure horse only horses and horse related things. So, I will answer any questions you have that includes me and my horses, you horses, and anything horse related in general, I will give advice. I am NOT an expert, I can only give you my oppinion from personal experience, and all of my reading and time being with the horses. I have been around horses from before I was even born. My mother rode horse, while she was pregnant, and I have ridden for my whole life. To give you a little more info on my back story, I grew up riding 2 wonderfully broke horses. Buttons and Candy, they made me the horse lover I am today, although I probably would have ended up loving horses anyway. I rode western up until a few days ago! I was super excited, and was actualy not as good as I hoped I would be. The posting is what got me. I was riding a horse named Snickers. The horse in front of us was Mavrick, Snickers didn't like being behind Mavrick so he would try to bite him if we got any faster than a walk. The problem was, that he was so sensitive in the mouth that whenever I tried to slow him down, he would stop instead, and I would go forward and end up grabbing his mane/neck. I still love him though, We dont have a lesson with Mav next week, or at least not if the boy who is coming rides him, so I hope Snickers wont have anybody in front of him. Sko back to riding western, I have a lovely gelding named Chuck, who is going on 10 this year, we met a few years ago when we moved to a farm, and got horses. I have a bond with him that I have never had with any other horse. He can be a HUGE pain in the butt sometimes, but its amazing that feeling I get when were having a good day. I also have a yearling (but not for much longer) Stud named Jet. He turns 2 in April, as many people use 2-2.5 as a good time to start riding, I have done that too. I wont start riding him until about May. We have 4 other horses and a donkey. Our other horses are Jack, Pearl, Duchas, Wildfire, Navajo (who is actually boarding with us for a while) and our donkey's name is Lucky. So comment, ask questions, tell me about you and your horses, and have fun.
Even I am constantly told I can't do it, I am told, I suck, that I shouldn't ride, that I am wrong, it my opinoin is diferent than theirs, I just brush it off, there is no use in letting them drag me down to their level of stupid and beating me with experience, some people even say that I am not making a difference, nobody cares what I think or say, or I don't matter, I do this for the horses not for the stupid people of the world, stupid people are the ones who cause problems for horses, so the horses at least deserve for their stupid owners to fix it... and it makes a difference, maybe im not a big name trainer, but I am trying to change things for horses, one horse at a time.... 


There was once an old man and a child walking on the beach together. While walking they approach an area where thousands of fish are washed up on the beach flipping and flopping on the sand.

The little boy picks up one of the fish and throws it back in the water.

The old man laughs and says: "You think you can make a difference in all these 1000's of dying fish by doing that?"

The boy looks up at the man and says: "It made the world's difference for that one." 

Now I don't claim to know everything, nobody can, but I try to keep learning, I don't just stop progressing, I don't care how slowly I move forward, but I keep moving. I will NEVER know everything about horses, they are always changing, always learning and growing, and they will always continue to teach us new things, I love that horses are unpredictable and dangerous, thats all part of the fun, so here is a quote to go with this...

A horse doesn't care how much you know until he knows how much you care. Even the Greenest horse has something to teach the greatest rider...

This past year I have learned so much, I can't wait to continue to learn more, help train others horses directly working with them and their horses, and through the blog, I can't wait to see what the next year brings. We have come this far and continue to grow, get bigger, more popular, and more importantly help more and more horses! Thanks for all the support from EVERYONE!
