Hey guys, so today was another AMAZING day of riding, I am SO SO SO proud of Chuck he did amazing, more riding around, and now were to the point where I can ask him to stop with only my seat legs and voice, no rein cues at all! :) I love how far we have come, so I have been asked before what I want to do with Chuck, a few months ago, I would have said showing in WP and Jumping, but now I really don't care what I do with him, as long as I am with him thats what matters! He could go any direction, and be an all around horse, but I don't think I will ever get into serious showing with him, one thing that I really would like to try is see if he has any cow sense.... I really think that he would love being a cutting horse, he likes to have a job, and gets bored easily, (he hates just going around in circles, and honestly what horse doesn't get mind numb when ridden in an arena every day) and I think him getting bored easily is a sign of intelligence. He picks up new cues and tricks easily and quickly, and this summer I have a few plans for him :) Like I said im not sure if I really even want to show anymore, way to much drama if you ask me, a exilerating trail ride would be much better.... I can't wait to work more and more with Chuck, I even rode him with no halter or reins just a lead rope around his neck today out in the field, not in an arena or in a yard, but out in the middle of a field with all the other horses, not many people can take claim to that, and that is one thing im proud I can do! I think its pretty funny, the first ride we ever had on him, and he bucked Nick off, he was actually sopose to be Nicks horse, but that never happend :) hes now my big love bug also a wolly mamath, thats starting to shed out, so that means winter will be ending soon! I can't wait, I don't mind the snow, its actually fun to go out for a ride in the puffy light snow and see as the horses walk through it and kick it up into a cloud of dust! I just wish it wasn't so cold, and that the weather would quit being bi-polar, and decide if it wants to change to spring, or stay winter, either way im fine with it, but I would really like it if it made up its mind what it wanted to be. So here are some videos and pictures from this weekend and 2 new music videos for you guys!
