Last Night!

Hey guys, so last night was a fun night, I had a follow up Dr.s appointment so I left for that during the last class of the day. So after that we went to pick up my Meds. and I asked my step-dad what time we would get home, and he said after dark, so I called my grandma to see what time she got off work, and turns out she was already off and at the same store we were, so I rode home with my grandma, and we picked up Roni, and we went to the farm. We found them in the same spot where they were last time, but they were again on the other side of the fence, but this time it wasn't an accident, my grandpa had left the gate open that way if they liked the grass back there better they could eat that too, there isn't anything else on that side of the fence anyways. So we had one halter and one lead, so I just hopped on Chuck and rode back, and Jack followed Chuck all the way back across the field, and then we rode around the yard, and I rode up the hill to my grandmas house, then came back down, and Roni rode Jack and then we got off and did ground work, I worked with both horses on backing and turning at the same time, I wove the horses in and out of trees/tree stumps, that were all nice and lined up, so It was good practice for the horse, they had to think about what I was asking, they had to learn to move away from pressure, all you do is give them the que and go on the side you need to. The other horses also got to come to my grandmas, and its AWESOME because they don't need any hay anymore, so my grandpa only has to feed them their grain once a day, and now I can go work with them more often, because I don't have ground school or drivers ED this semester, so there will be much more progress to come!
