Color of Horses

Hey guys seeing lots of confusion on the color of horses, so Im making this post to clear things up! So I will give discriptions of each color, and other markings!

Bays: A bay has a black mane and tail, and black lower legs and is reddish-brown over the rest of the body. They can also have other markings such as socks and face markings.

Chestnut: A reddish-brown horse with a similar colored mane and tail.

Dun: A dun can varie from mouse colored to a sand color with dark skin and ususlly has a black mane tail and legs.
        
Brown: A horse with a black mane, tail, lggs, and a mixture of brown and black hairs over the rest of the body.

Palomino: A gold-colored horse with a much paler, sometimes almost white, mane and tail.

Roan: Roans have white hairs mixed with either black hairs (Blue Roan), bay hairs, (Red Roan), or chestnut hairs (Strawberry Roan).

         Dappled Grey
               
Gray: Gray horses can vary from white to dark gray, and can be either plain, dappled, or flea-bitten, and all of them have black skin.
