Hey!
Hey guys, so yesterday started really early, I got up at 5 because I am in school to become a pilot, this is through the ICCC college, so we do get to go do fun stuff, so yesterday we came up to Minneapolis Mn. and went to the air traffic control center! It was amazing and huge! the tower itself is about 10 stories tall. It was so cool to see how smoothly they ran planes through, they can land about 90 planes an hour, and depart about 60, thats one plane every minute! I guess it helps with 3-4 active runways at a time. So we didn't get to see what everybody else sees at the termanals, we got to see how everything works, we had to go through a guard house and they had to check our I.D. and everything else, and we had to have badges to be around, we couldn't have any cameras or anything and our phones had to be off at all times :( otherwise I would have been able to take some pictures. In the TRAYCON room there were TONS of computers I counted 46 of them! One of the computers showed all planes with a working mode C transponder all over the U.S. and I mean all over, It was cool to see the flow of ships across the oceans, there is like a little path that everyone follows. After that we went up to the tower, it was so cool to see them all work together, they all had mics atatched to them, and then would move the planes from approach to ground to departure and everywhere in between, there was so much going on, and seeing the screens I could actually understand what was going on! I am typing this was we are leaving to go somewhere else today we are headed to Minneapolis center, so now we get to do more. Last night after we went to the control tower we went to our hotel, and then we ate Don Pablo which is a Mexican reasturant, we all had fun there togeather, after that we went back to the hotel for a bit, and then we went to Mall of America, I got my mom a gift, but I won't post it cause I don't want her to see it :) Love ya Mom!!! Sara Paylen was there, though I don't really care about politics, but all the others were, but then again im only 15 :) after that we went into the amusement park, I went on a few rides, and got the kid to come out in some of the others, I rode the brain surge, the ninja turtle ride(omg roni im so sorry they didn't have it there when you were there last but it is pretty awesome!!!) and I rode Rock Bottom, it is the roller coaster off of spongebob where they get stuck at the bus stop and they go down that really steep hill, and the roller coaster is straight up and down, If you don't believe me look it up!!! After that we went and walked around, and we tried Dude Fudge, it is fudge that tastes like Mt. Dew, it was AWESOME!!! I usualy don't care much for that kind of stuff, but it was really good. After that we we had already spent about 4 hours at the mall, so we all walked back and as we walked through the exit, there was a huge and I mean HUGE service dog, it was really funny because my grandma was looking at him, and she walked into a wall! Then we all went back to the hotel and hung out for a little while longer, I went into my room around midnight and watched sky high on ABC Family, and then when it was over I headed to bed. So here are just some of the pictures I got on my phone, they are kinda blurry some of them,
