Hey guys, so I know its been awhile sense I have posted, but I guess I'm giving you an update so that's good. I have been dealing with health issues the past month and a bit more... Starting January 20th I got a headache at a basketball game, I came home and laid down and took some medicine and it got a little bit better but didn't go away and it has been with me every day from the time I wake up until I go to bed sense then... having a headache is tiring enough but having a headache for over a month? Its just draining... I have had other issues that came along with the headache including tremors, fatigue, muscle weakness, vision changes, trouble concentrating, and at one time (although we think it was do to a medication they put me on) memory loss. I have also had issues with sharp upper stomach pain although it may actually be chest pain as chest pain can present as abdominal pain in women. I went to the hospital 2 times for the stomach pain and the second time the doctors also had me on a blood pressure monitor and when I was having the terrible abdominal pain the blood pressure monitor detected irregularities in my heartbeat so we went back in and they did an EKG and put me on a heart monitor for a couple of days, but we won't know the results of that until later. After all 7 doctors visits and 3 ER visits we finally got referred to a Neurologist. We finally got a possible answer. The neuro thinks that its New Daily Persistant Headache (NDPH), but the only way you can officially be diagnosed with it is to rule out all other posibilities and have the headache for 3 months. The crappy part is is that NDPH is the hardest of any migrane or headache disorder to treat because it is least responsive to treatment which means it doesn't respond to medicines very well. Reading up on it I have seen people who have had their headache for 20+ years and it kind of scares me to be honest... I feel like crap all the time and this headache is just getting old and wearing me down already and I have only had it just over a month let alone months and years. I decided to start a daily vlog challenge for 30 days I will do a daily vlog and it could be a few minutes long or a half hour, I just will blog, It will be mostly about chickens and or horses, but we haven't done much with the horses due to the weather and me being sick. Anyways heres some pictures and the 1st vlog for you all along with a short video from the vlog where a heat lamp exploded right in front of me!
Sick/injured chicken I have in the house right now. I think at one point she got frostbite, but we didn't because notice she acts fine and no other chickens exhibited any symptoms of anything, but anyways a few of her toes literally fell of! So shes a house chicken for now.
This is a serama Egg I got 2 seramas (smallest breed of chicken in the world look in pic below) sadly the rooster died and I plan on getting another rooster and hen here soon so look forward to that.
Like I said above smallest breed of chicken in the world, this is the full grown hen next to a pop can for size comparison.
Above and below are a chicken hat my moms friend made for me, all she had left to do was add eyes to it, so she did and my mom and nick are going to pick it up today.
My mom took a picture of me at the hospital the first time I went in for my headache, I was so dizzy and nausious that I was puking because my head hurt so bad. They did a CT scan of my head to check for tumors or brain bleeds with thankfully came back negative.
Second time I was in the hospital, this was due to the stomach pains, while I was there they took a CT of my stomach and found out my stomach was swollen and inflamed most likely due to the medicine I was taking.
Here is a picture of the heart monitor I had to wear for a few days. I had this little device here and then it led to wires which were attatched to 5 different sticky pads on my chest, the worst part was that I had to have it on 24/7 and couldn't shower while I had it on.
Above and below are some really old pictures, they are actually back from September but I realized I didn't post about it. I got my first tattoo as a birthday gift from my mom. Its obviously horse related so I hope you guys like it. I got it on my right sholder. My moms artist did a great job!
