Life is a funny thing isn't it? We are always so busy, never seeming to slow down. I used to use this blog to slow down, but I really just havn't been able to do that these past 5-6 months really..... After I got my job I have had quite a bit of time taken up. I am also on a completly loaded school schedual, I am taking 7 classes every day, (PE/Studyhall every other day doesn't count I think....) plus 2 full college courses online. I honestly have not had time to mess with the horses lately either. I go out there and feed them, the other day I went out and gave them some apples and some hand grooming, but other than that I have ridden once sense the beginning of the year and only about 3-4 times in the past 6 months.... I would love to get out in this lovely weather that we are having right now. I would have liked to a couple weeks ago, but I was having some really bad trouble with my back, even taking medicine that can knock my mom out didn't help much. But finally after having to go the chiropractor every other day for about a week and a half it has been starting to feel better, I hope tomorrow will be the last one.... and then a little over 2 weeks ago I sprained my ankle pretty good. It wasn't to bad the first day, just swollen and a little bruised. The second day it started to get worse both in appearence and feeling, so I ended up going to the doctor. They did X-rays and said not broke thankfully, but then a week later at my follow up, the doctor was concerned with how none of the swelling was going away and that it wasn't feeling much better, so now 3 weeks later I will be going in for an MRI which will hopefully figure out what is wrong and why it doesn't seem to be healing very well. Today my $400 worth of prom orders didn't come in because the teacher misplaced the sheet, but oh well I guess we will get it figured out eventually. The digatizer in my phone stopped working.... I could answer calls because I knew where to touch the screen to answer the call, but couldn't actually see anything other than a blank screen. Life seems to just want to wear me out quite a bit lately, thankfully today is the first day of spring break. I for sure plan on going to hopefully see deadpool with some friends sometime later next week if my friend is feeling up to it after getting her Wisdom teeth taken out. I also plan on working on redoing part of our old farrowing building, and turning it into a chicken coop. (Nick burnt down our last one, but this one is made of metal, so maybe just maybe he won't burn that down too). I have some big plans for the comming months and summer. The month of April is chock full of events, FFA state convention, solo and ensamble, the State Horse Fair, the elementary carnival, the dance marathon, track grilling will be starting up, FFA banquet, and much much more.
I don't have much else to right about other than adding a side note that we gave lucky away to a friend of ours who has an older mare, and he wanted a companion animal for her. Lucky is pretty loyal and protective so I'm sure hes having fun, especially without Jet to pick on him.
Here are some random pictures related to some of the things I talked about in the post...

This is what it looked like in a little less than 24 hours... it got a little darker than this though and eventually went further up my leg... |

This is what happend to our dump truck which also has our plow on it... the shape in the drift on the right is a normal truck |
In this picture you can see the top of the truck sticking out over the snow... the fun part was spending about 4 and a half hours digging the monster out with a shovel and then having to pull it unstuck because our yard is an ice rink... |
This is a picture of our yard BEFORE the chicken coop and corn crib were accidentally burned down... |
In this video the chicken coop has already collapsed but the corn crib is still blazing... |
This was the aftermath of the fire, no animals or people were injured thankfully. |
